2. Information we collect
We only collect the personal information you voluntarily provide through our contact form, namely:
- Your first name and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The type of project considered and a description of your project
Our site uses no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, and does not automatically collect information about you (apart from standard technical logs from your browser when visiting). The only external resources loaded are web fonts (Google Fonts), which do not place identifying cookies.
3. Use of your information
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
- Responding to your request for a quote or for information
- Providing you, at your request, with information about our services and our projects
- Maintaining records of our exchange in the context of a potential construction mandate
No sale, rental, or transfer to third parties. We never sell, rent, or transfer your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes, except where required by law (for example, in response to a court order).
4. Retention period
Your information is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:
- Requests without an open mandate: if no contract is signed within 12 months of your request, your information is deleted.
- Clients who have signed a contract: your information is kept according to applicable legal, accounting, and tax obligations (generally 7 years after the end of the mandate).
5. Your rights under Law 25
Quebec legislation grants you several rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Right of rectification: have inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous information corrected.
- Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to the use of your information at any time.
- Right to portability (in force since September 22, 2024): receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
- Right to de-indexing and cessation of dissemination: request that your information cease to be disseminated online in certain circumstances.
- Right to complain: file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you believe your rights are not respected.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our person in charge (contact details in section 1). We will respond to your request within a maximum of 30 days, except in exceptional circumstances which we will communicate to you.
6. Security of information
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. Your information is stored on secure servers, and access is restricted to authorized Patios Zone-Experts personnel.
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a serious risk of harm, we will notify the affected individuals and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, as required by Law 25.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Our site currently uses no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. Only Google Fonts web fonts are loaded from a third-party service (Google) to ensure the display of our design. This request transmits your IP address to Google according to their own privacy policy. No personal information is shared by Patios Zone-Experts on this occasion.
If we add analytics or measurement cookies in the future, we will display a prior consent banner and update this policy accordingly.

We may modify this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory developments. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this page. In the event of a substantial change, a clearly visible notice will be displayed on our site.
